Laser Genesis for Wrinkles
Laser Genesis uses light laser energy to repair and rejuvenate skin cells in a non-toxic and non-invasive manner. The method decreases the need for medicine, improves the results of skin problems treated, and speeds up the healing of afflicted tissues.
What is Laser Therapy for Wrinkles?
A low-level laser is given to the wrinkled skin during laser genesis. Photons are transmitted roughly three inches into the skin by the laser. Mitochondria in the skin membranes absorb the laser light. It generates an increase in adenosine triphosphate levels and, as a result, a boost in healthy cell synthesis.
The procedure also aids healing by enhancing collagen, enzyme production, and cell proliferation. The increased collagen production aids in the prevention of scar tissue formation.
Why Should You Consider Laser Therapy?
Laser Genesis has several advantages, including:
- reduced requirement for pain medication after treatment;
- energised cells in the treatment region;
- improved immune response;
- enhanced healing reaction;
- boosted collagen production, which leads to new skin growth.
- improved lymphatic drainage;
- reduced swelling and inflammation; and
- improved blood circulation in the treated area.
How to Prepare for the Procedure?
Our doctor would usually assess the patient's medical history and do a physical examination before the operation. This is the moment for the doctor and the patient to discuss the procedure's expectations, risks, and outcomes.
Two weeks before the operation, avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, waxing, chemical peels, and collagen injections. Before and after treatment, avoid using perfumes, deodorants, or other potentially irritating substances in the treatment region. Because of the increased risk of bleeding, avoid aspirin, anti-inflammatory medicines, and herbal supplements.
What Comes After the Procedure?
Several weeks following laser genesis, patients may not notice any noticeable changes. For four to eight hours following treatment, the treated area may be warm.
Within four to six hours, the feeling typically goes away. Relieve the warmth in the treatment location by applying cool packs or damp towels. The pain usually goes away within a few days.
Patients should also refrain from putting makeup or lotion on the treated region for at least 24 hours or until all traces of redness and stinging have faded.
For the length of the treatments and at least three months following the final treatment, use an excellent moisturising lotion to the treated region twice daily.
Are There Any Possible Risks?
There are minor hazards associated with any treatment, but you can minimise them in the hands of a trained doctor. Some of the risks include mild flushing and redness.
